Watchlist Groups

#1

I'm delighted Amibroker can have many user defined watchlists.

Can we:

  1. Organize the watchlists into sub-folders (like formulas)?
  2. Search for watchlist names?

Watchlist Select and Activate from AFL

@SwingTradeMonkey for Q #1, I don't think so, or at least I've never seen it.

Q#2 I am not sure what you are looking for but here are some ways of accessing a WL.

WatchlistName = "NASDAQ 100";
wlnumber = CategoryFind(WatchlistName, categoryWatchlist );

OR another way is to pick your WL in the Analysis widow,

wlnumber  = GetOption( "FilterIncludeWatchlist" );
watchlist = CategoryGetSymbols( categoryWatchlist, wlnumber );

OR a twist on the idea,

Or if looking to use multiple WL's,

Hope that is of some help.

@portfoliobuilder Thanks! For AFL Code this is helpful!
My question was using the GUI to search (see image). With your suggestions and some clever GuiButton and GuiEdit controls, perhaps someone has or can code this into an onscreen control if it's not an embedded feature.
Thanks!
