There is other data available, in addition to the Price Data. For example…

Download price data:
https://query1.finance.yahoo.com/v7/finance/download/GE?period1=-252356400&period2=1495684800&interval=1d&events=history&crumb=ccAoGZSlUc.

Downloads all Dividends:
https://query1.finance.yahoo.com/v7/finance/download/ALK?period1=322113600&period2=1495425600&interval=1d&events=div&crumb=CYJ8CZZtWJt

Downloads all Splits:
https://query1.finance.yahoo.com/v7/finance/download/ALK?period1=322113600&period2=1495425600&interval=1d&events=split&crumb=CYJ8CZZtWJt

The “crumb” URL parameter is the new cookie/session string that is needed.

As far as the dividends are concerned, they are not in percent terms but rather cash. Therefore to adjust the split adjusted price history in some kind of “Second Pass” at the data, you would need to put the dividend in percent terms using the un-adjusted close.
