I’m newly trying to learn to use Amibroker, and I had a chart up and somehow put a vertical line in the price pane (1st pane). I couldn’t find a way to remove this red vertical line, and at one point saw an option to delete the “price”. I did this and the entire price pane (where the candlestick chart was) went blank. Not only that, but it’s blank in each of the 8 sheets. The indicators, in the other panes, are still there. The crosshair still works normally. But I’ve lost the price candlestick chart. I tried the undo button, but that didn’t undo my mistake.
Could someone tell me if there is a way to retrieve the disappeared price(candlesticks, in this case).
You have applied default chart (File->New->Default chart) of default layout. The price chart of that default chart is a copy of Price (all in one) of Charts window - > Basic Charts. All top panes of all sheets of that default chart use the same price chart and have same chart ID -> 1 (so they are shared). So since you have just deleted price of the copy go to the original one in Basic Charts folder right click Price (all in one), choose Edit and copy Price code Section from the top and then right click on the empty chart and choose Edit formula and paste it at the top of that copy of the applied chart pane. Then click Apply button of formula editor.
If it is not understood here there is a video. Follow it with same steps (after 20 second of the video when I go to Basic Charts folder on the left side and choose edit). (The GIF video is a bit fast because otherwise I would have exceeded max. file size of 515 KB. So just watch it multiple times.)
