Is it possible to zoom in/out the text inside the AFL editor without a mouse wheel? Thank you very much! 
Sorry, but no, you need a mouse wheel to do real time zoom.
What you can do instead is to simply change font size in Tools->Preferences->Editor
@Tomasz, I see some implementations of the Scintilla editor component use these combinations:

Ctrl-Keyboard +: Enlarges the text size -
Ctrl-Keypad-: Reduce text size -
Ctrl-Keypad /: Reset normal text size
If they aren't already used for other purposes, you might want to consider them for a future update.
