I am not sure what is going on, but I am trying to use AmiBroker's batch facilities and for whatever reasons the parameter window is missing where I can add the files to be "automated".

I get that, but when I click one of the items like "Explore", I get the following...Where is the parameter drop down?
Your first message mentions that you didn't!
Have you read the batch documentation carefully?
You first have to load a project! Then add 2nd task "Explore". Explore is an action without parameter!
