Best way to clean up numbered formulas

I have a lot of numbered formulas (Formula nnn) in my custom folder. What is the best way to delete them, even if they have been applied to an active chart, and reset the formula index?

Will simply deleting them in the Windows file explorer interfere with the way AB tracks formulas?

These are just files, if you don’t use them in your charts you can delete as any file. If you delete file used by chart you will get error message in that chart pane (Formula file can not be found).
