Can I use single license use two different computer at the same time?

I have read this article but I still do not understand it.

I want to use a single license at the same time on different computers,one running automatic trading and the other running backtest. Can it do that? Thanks…

If you don’t understand - re-read the article. It can not be explained in simpler terms than it is already in the article. License is PERSONAL, issued for PERSON, not computer and it is intended to be used by one PERSON only. Since one person typically has two hands he/she can not use simultaneously more than one computer at the time. Using is not the same as having it turned on. Using means active interaction. So your set up is fine as long as you are the only person actively using it.

So if I wanted to run automation on one machine and keep working on optimizing the strategy on another machine, the single user license will suffice?

Only if you

  • OWN those two machines AND
  • you are the only PERSON who uses AmiBroker on both
