Does "[v]Show Day session only" also influences the Optimize and Backtest?

The help
says that "Show day session only - only the data between day session are displayed"

and my data includes the "Day session" and "Night session",
and I set the [Database settings] > [Intraday setting]
to [v]Show Day session only;

I see the chart actually only displaying the "day session" only,
but I don't know this setting whether influence the backtest and optimization.

After some tries, I see the Optimize results are different
between [v]Show Day session only and [v]Show 24 Hours.

So, does the setting "[v]Show Day session only" also influence the backtest and optimization?

Filtering is a global setting and affects everything.
