Hi everyone, I am hoping that someone can help me.
I can not seem to use Volume or Tick based bars, without having the chart constantly 'flicker' with every price change. Is there a setting that I am missing?
Using IQFeed, Tick Database.
I am using IQFeed. The database is set up as shown in the screenshots below. Any help would be most appreciated.

I should have mentioned - I am using 64-bit 6.29.0.

You will probably find a solution here:
Tick counting starts on day boundary. If PAST ticks for current day are added by data source (for example during backfill) then number of ticks changes and it will affect N-tick bars, until source stops adding past ticks for current day (i.e. when backfill is complete).
So for stable N-tick chart you have to have at least one COMPLETE day worth of data.
