Can somebody tell me where can I download FullName for ETF and mutual funds?
In my opinion, at present one of the most reliable sources at present is the Nasdaq site.

There (top left of the screener area) there is a elink to download a complete list of traded ETFs as a .csv file.
This is the kind of file to be used with the Import Wizard setting it in this way:
You can also change/set the group and/or the watchlist as needed.

Thank you Beppe! All this is super useful.
At the moment, I settled on just S&P 500 stocks for classification.
Also, I modified the Python S&P 500 script above to write directly into the AmiBroker\Data\Watchlists\S&P 500.tls, so I can update S&P with one click.
The only small inconvenience is that now, as I used the AmiBroker Tools --> "Update US symbol list adn categories", my database is populated with ~6500 symbols. In order to update just the S&P 500, i.e 500 or so symbols, I cannot use Auto-Update from Tools, as I will have to wait probbaly a very, very long time. So, I have to go directly to AmiQuote and point it to the S&P 500.tls file for update. But, all in all, this is nothing and I think now I haev solved both of my issues in a very effcient way. Efficient means 2 clicks way

I was able to pull the entire *******star mutual fund ticker symbol and full name database down about a year ago as a csv and you can then use the import wizard to enter it into your database. I don't see a way to attach a csv file here, anyone who wants it can feel free to reach out to me at roylance3@gmail.com. It's from April of 2017, and has about 26,000 tickers in it with descriptions.

You wouldn't have an updated link for this would you? It looks like NASDAQ has changed their website and importing a list is no longer available.

Just use Tools->Update US symbol list and categories. It includes full name.

Well now, I just took Tomasz advise and used Tools->Update US symbol list and categories. At the time I was using my Mutual Fund data base that contained only some mutual funds and ETFs, about 25 total. But after following the advise, that data base now contains 6827 equities. So I must remake my original data base. I hope that I will be able to just copy and paste from the bloated folder to a new one. I can easily find the original equities because I can search and sort based on file length. 
Look at fxhrats post, should be 3/4 down. As long as you didn’t download data for the unwanted symbols, the instructions for database purify should work for your case.
If you worried about the data, not a bad idea to copy a backup of the database folder your using.
For just updating the company name, Yahoo Extra is fine but I think it truncates.

@TraderX, thank you very much for the suggestion. However, I'm unfamiliar with Yahoo Extra and couldn't find anything about it on the web. Could you please point me to it?

I just purchased AmiQuote but found for many ETFs the Full Name are missing, such as S&P 500 sector ETFs(XLF,XLE,...) and 3x leveraged ETFs ( TQQQ, SPXL, ...). I did tried the Tools->Update US symbol list and categories but it doesn't work. Maybe you need to update the database of US symbol list and categories? Can you please let me know what the best way to download the Full Name?
Yahoo Historical data download does NOT include full name.
Tools->Update US symbol list and categories is basically for stocks only.
For ETFs you would need to get the full names from somewhere else in plain text form and import them http://www.amibroker.com/guide/h_impwizard.html
By the way, your question is already answered earlier in this thread: Download fullname (post#2) and it includes instruction and link to Nasdaq site where you can get ETF names from.
Also, I have prepared a list of NYSE traded ETFs here (symbol, fullname) here: NYSE_Traded_ETFs.txt so you can import them using Import Wizard directly.

Yahoo historical data, has problem in o h l c of candles
@shan, as you probably know, AmiBroker is not a provider of data.
If you are unsatisfied by the quality of the free Yahoo EOD data, you can try different subscription-based data sources like Tiingo or Norgate, etc.
I suggest to explore the "Data Sources" sections of the forum to learn more about the different data providers.
