Existing formula is different than one stored in the project

Hi, I get the "existing formula is different than one stored in the project" message when I open an APX file.
Does anyone know what is casuing and how I can avoid this mesage?

Many months ago, I read somewhere that there is an option in AB to set by deafult "Overwite existing file". But I may be wrong.

That message appears if your AFL that is saved to APX file (aka analysis project file) is of different code content as the AFL of same formula name being saved at the same location (as the one when you had saved your AFL to a project back then).

If you always want to apply the AFL that is already there at same formula location then go to Analysis toolbar and click settings icon and left click "Keep existing AFL fle..." then re-save your project.

By "existing file" it is meant a possibly updated AFL file of the one being saved to project before. So "existing file" is not the one (AFL) saved to project file back then. Would you want to have that existing one having updates being overwritten? I guess in >90% of cases you wouldn't since then all your time been spent for that updated AFL would be lost.

(Note: that option has been added in AB 6.16)

Indeed. Problem solved.

Is there a way to always load the updated afl-file into the project? I work on my afl-file almost daily and it's cumbersome to resave the project all the time.
