GuiButton used together with Insert => Trendline

hi, normally when you use Insert | Trendline from the Amibroker menu, you can click on it with the mouse and use the Delete key to remove it again.

However, once I have 1 of the new GuiButtons on the chart and then do a Insert | Trendline then the Delete key will not remove it. I need to do a “rightmouse click” Remove Study. Is there a reason for this? Thanks

OS controls are … child windows which means that they act like windows, if you click on it, the VERY FIRST window directly under the mouse cursor receives mouse click. Which means your button will receive the click instead of its parent (chart window that is below). The same applies to ALL user input, including the keyboard.

thanks. I was asked about that. I personally do not use these inserted trend lines.
