I have some questions about the AUX1 field. I would like to use this field to mark when a ticker belongs to an index like explained here Help Needed!!! Build a database with all historical index constituent - #8 by fxshrat
Before doing it I run a buy and hold backtest with TESLA. This is the code of the system
SetOption("InitialEquity",100000); posqty=1; SetOption("MaxOpenPositions",posqty); Positionsize=-99.99/posqty; Buy=1;Sell=0; Short=Cover=0;
And this is the result. Everything is fine.
I import the following CSV to amibroker
Using the following Additional comments
$FORMAT Name, Date_DMY, Aux1 $HYBRID 1 $ALLOWNEG 1
If I explore the field Aux1 it looks fine.
But if I run again the same buy and hold systems, it looks like something is broken.
If I run the system from 2019 it Works again
It looks like that the system stops working if the Aux1 field is filled. Do you know what I’m doing wrong?
I ask knowing in advanced that it’s me who is making a mistake and I would really appreciate if someone could give me some light.
Thanks for your suport
