Is IB Controller still alive?

Hi,
I have searched within this forum and found the IBController 1.3.8 READ ME page but am unable to download from the link on the page. Much of the info I have found seems quite dated and I'm wondering if anyone is still using this add on? I see it was open sourced, does that mean it is no longer supported?
I'm hopeful a usable version still exists as it would be very useful at this stage of trading development.

Yes it is alive and open source and lots of people are using it.
Open source does not mean "no longer supported", it is open source for one reason: so you know what is INSIDE.

IBController is meant as thin translation (proxy) layer between AmiBroker and IB API / Traders Workstation. It just passes things forth and back without changes essentially so it doesn't need to be updated as long as TWS API is supported.

Not everything needs to receive everyday updates. If something is written well, it doesn't need to be fixed.

Tomasz, Thank you for the answer and explanation.
I am still unable to download the .exe file from the link in the IBController 1.3.8 Read Me page and have tried in Chrome and MS Edge.
Is this the correct location to download the latest version?
Also, is the Read Me page and this forum the best resources for a total IBController beginner?
TIA,

Try using HTTPS in the link. Nowadays browsers get crazy with http links

Thanks @Tomasz , That works.
