Issue with charts and scheduler

A couple of days ago when I opened Amibroker two things happened - first time in the four years I've been using AB.

  1. All of my charts panes had errors saying there was a path error. I verified the correct AB path location and reopened the charts and everything was ok again.

  2. All of my scheduled tasks in scheduler disappeared. I recreated everything and then today all of my scheduled tasks have disappeared again.

Anyone have experience with this or could recommend potential solutions?

@gt13, in general, when something "strange" happens, the first suspect is the Antivirus (or, in the worst case, a virus/malware that infected the machine).
Update the AV (and its definitions), then check its reports. If nothing shows up, try to disable it temporarily and see if you still see the unusual behavior.

Additionally, check your file system (Chkdsk) and use the Windows System File Checker status for integrity and/or to fix any errors.

If your antivirus has gone crazy it might have deleted AFL files and you are going to have problems.

@beppe - unfortunately, if antivirus deletes files, turning AV off does not magically solve the problem because files remain deleted.
