Limit AmiQuote Auto-updates for Selected Symbols Only

I recently used the “Tools → Update US Symbol List and Categories” function in AmiBroker to update my watchlist with company names and sector information. This process created a list of 7,800 symbols with company names and categories. However, when I now run the auto-update in AmiBroker, AmiQuote attempts to update all 7,800 symbols, which takes a considerable amount of time to complete. I understand from other posts that this speed is recommended to prevent overloading Yahoo Finance servers.

For my daily usage, I primarily trade S&P 500 stocks and a few ETFs with high option volume, so I only need EOD quotes for about 700 symbols every trading day. The rest are not relevant to my workflow.

Is there a way to configure AmiQuote so that it updates only the symbols in my watchlist when I press the auto-update button? Any guidance on how to streamline this process would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, prepare ticker list (plain text file with each symbol in separate line), save it with .TLS extension and use File->Open to open it in AmiQuote, then press "Start Download"
If you already have a watch list - watch lists are in TLS format already, so you can just use that.
