I've got an end of day (yahoo) database where i've got many notes, layout configurations, etc. I'm likely going to a real time IQ feed. Is there any way to bring that data over to a new database so i don't have to redo it?
I haven't had to move them but I have lots of notes. They are stored as simple text files in the Amibroker Notes directory using the ticker code as the file name (appl.txt would be Apple).
Assuming the ticker codes remain the same notes would probably load automatically when you change the database.
Just copy entire database folder (with all subfolders). You can then simply change "Data source" to IQFeed in File->Database Settings.
Or... just use existing database (only changing "Data source").
If any symbol needs renaming - just rename it (in Window->Symbol Information)
