Nasdaq 100 index symbol with IB Data Plugin

What is the correct symbol for the Nasdaq 100 index? I can see the streaming data in TWS, but not in AmiBroker.

Symbol NDX-NASDAQ-IND, results in market data permission error. My data subscription is:

  • US Securities Snapshot and Futures Value Bundle
  • US Equity and Options Add-On Streaming Bundle

I have no trouble with the other major indexes:

SPX = SPX-CBOE-IND
DJI = DJI-CME-IND
RUT = RUT-RUSSELL-IND
IB continuous contract symbols

If you get data permission error it means that symbol is correct, but your subscription does not allow it. You need to ask Interactive Brokers for correct data permission/subscription.

For the sake of others reading this, I contacted IB customer support. It turns out the US Securities Snapshot and Futures Value Bundle combined with US Equity and Options Add-On Streaming Bundle does not provide real-time streaming quotes for the Nasdaq 100 index. This is what is needed:
