Periodicitet dont show second

Hi

I run AB 6.00.2 (my free update period has ended).

My base time interval is 1second.
I have changed one custom time interval to 10 seconds and my data is 10 seconds, and I can show 10 seconds chart as below;
AB1

As how... I then try to run a optimize on 10 seconds Periodicitet, but I can only see 0 - minutes as below;
ab2

Have I missed something, I can in no way show "10 seconds " in Periodicitet, or anything with seconds more then the predefined (1, 5 or 15 seconds). What I am doing wrong?

Please follow this advice: How to ask a good question

Typically database settings are wrong.
You need to show File->Database Settings.

Hi

Please see attached. The base time interval is 1sec (tried with 5 and 15, same problem).

It doesn't matter what time I put there, only x - minutes are selectable as Periodicitet in backtesting. I have downloaded 1-second data now and can use the predefined 5 seconds. So no huge problem, but I found it strange why I couldn't' show the custom time intervals in seconds.

To backtest in 1-second you have to:

  1. have database with 1-second base interval (File->Database Settings)
  2. you actually must have 1-second data (changing base interval alone does not magically generate 1-second data out of thin air - you have to import or force backfill)
  3. you must have LICENSED, PROFESSIONAL edition (Standard and Trial is limited to 1-minute)

Hi

Thanks for response, please see my answers ;

  • have database with 1-second base interval (File->Database Settings)

Yes, I have that.

  • you actually must have 1-second data (changing base interval alone does not magically generate 1-second data out of thin air - you have to import or force backfill)

I did try with 10seconds and 1 seconds data imported with Ascii, I can see the data on the chart screen, so no problem with the data source.

  • you must have LICENSED, PROFESSIONAL edition

My procured licens and installed version is
Professional Edition (64-bit), version 6.00.2, Build date : Oct 8 2015.
