is it possible to remove a whole database from the amibroker Installation?

It’s just a file, can locate the file and delete, cut and paste, etc. Just remember layouts are saved through databases. If you haven’t, may want to save layout under global layouts.

Actually the database is DIRECTORY (folder), not a file. And yes you can delete it as any other directory using for example File Explorer. http://www.amibroker.com/guide/h_workspace.html

There is a default database present when you first install AB - I don't use it.
I created another database for EOD data and is updated with subscription TINGO
I created another database for RT data from my broker Interactive Brokers
I switch between these two DB's depending on what I'm currently doing.
It has been working well for many years now.
