I am using sendemail function to send a mail to my gmail account.
In order to have a nicelay-out I want to send a html email in stead of plain text.
But somehow my gmail let me see only the plain html text, so my html code is not parsed by my gmail
msg=“Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit\n”;
SendEmail (“TradeSystem”, msg);
Hope that someone can help.
Thanks in advance!
Content-type can only be set in the message header, but you can not set the header from message body.
Do you happen to have a simple example that works? That would help me a lot.
Re-read my post. There is no example that sets header fields because YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO HEADER.
oke, now i really understand, thx for you answer, and of course for the alertif the same applies I think, so no html emails can be sent, that’s the finale conclusion
Last question then, which also helps me out, how can i set the font which will be used in the email?
Plain text e-mail does not have “font” in it. The font used for plain text e-mail is selectable in the RECIPIENT’S e-mail client, see for example:
