Suspend losing trading systems for a period

Is there a way to suspend a trading system if it has for example 3 straight losses? E.g. "the 3 times in a row losing system" is suspended for a period of 30 days.

How do I do this when I have:

  • A system for several symbols/tickers
  • A system for one symbol/ticker.

I believe that the only way to do this is by writing a Custom Backtest (CBT).
