Trading View plug-in

I have done a search on this forum and found references to unofficial Trading View plug-ins but reliability appears to be a real issue. I have had a response from Trading View support recently confirming that they have not worked with Amibroker to develop an Amibroker plug-in.

Is there any plans to implement a legitimate Trading View plug-in for Amibroker ?

Not sure what you are referring to with respect to a Trading View Plug-in? If you are meaning the TV-Datafeed, that is not a data-feed, but just a small hack to get a bit of data from the browser I believe. While Trading View is undoubtedly an elegant, browser based HTML charting interface, it is not a serious interface or tool IMHO. For example, It does not have an ability to fire-hose a lot of quotes for many symbols or back-fill very quickly. Additionally it does not provide a way currently to access data, read or write to external files or be controlled or tie into an individuals custom code projects/algorithms. In my opinion, it's "Pretty", but that's about it.

Thanks for responding Sean.

For many years I have sourced my US and Australian stock data from NorgateData and the Data Source under Database Settings in Amibroker is called Norgate Data Plug-In. Refer to the attachment.

As @Sean wrote - Trading View is just a web site. It is just a Javascript-based web page that produces charts. They don't have API to access the data, they are not in data business, they are not data vendor.

Could someone please send me a list of reputable data vendors for international markets so I can do my research?

Why not start with a Google search?

I have devised a nice solution to access Trading View data so I am going with that.

Hi
Is this solution secret?

I would be interested to share with Amibroker or Trading View. If I start responding to individual requests then I am concerned that I would get caught up in a software development minefield.
