Update: EOD data considering survivorship bias

Hi,

i have read all topics about getting free good data. I just wonder if there is something new on the market which was not discussed here before.

I am looking for historical EOD data for the US stocks survivorship bias free. Ideally which would be able to import via Amiquote or any other easy way and automatically make categorisation into the sectors, industries and so on.

Thank you for your tips guys.

PS: So far I only know about Norgate data which are pretty expensive.

Categorisation to sectors and industries is available from built-in function
Tools->Update US symbols list and categories

Creation and maintenance of survivorship free database is time consuming. You can save your time and use Norgate. Or if you have plenty of time, you can create say yearly watch lists of index components yourself.
