Which database will AmiQuote choose?

I have 2 databases

run 1 instance with 1 of the databases, which database will amiquote update?
run 2 instances with the 2 different databases, which database will amiquote update?

OLE in Windows (mechanism of interprocess communication) connects always to FIRST running instance.
